Vivo is here again with a new Y-series smartphone named Y76s (t1). It is a mid-range smartphone that is relatively easier on the pocket. Its main features include a MediaTek processor, a bigger battery, and support for fast charging. The phone is identical to the Vivo Y76s of last year but there are a few minor changes.
The Vivo Y76s (t1) sports a 6.58-inch Full HD+ (2408 x 1080 pixels) IPS LCD display with a dotted notch. Unfortunately, there is no high refresh rate support here and it is locked at the standard 60Hz. The choice of processor is the MediaTek Dimensity 700. There is a single configuration of 12GB RAM and 256GB storage space.
The dual rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The selfie camera on the phone is an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture. There is a 4,100mAh battery to keep the lights on and is supported by 44W Flash Charge fast charging. The phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It will ship with OriginOS 1.0 based on Android 11.
As for the pricing, the Vivo Y76s (t1) will cost CNY 1,899 (about $282) for the sole 12GB/256GB model. It is unknown when the phone will go on sale but it will be sold in Galaxy Blue, Star Diamond White, and Starry Night Black color options.
