We are getting closer to the time when Oppo will hold its annual Oppo Inno Day 2022 conference. It is the event where Oppo showcases its newest technologies it is working on. It debuted its first foldable Find N at the same event last year and we are expecting a next-gen foldable this year.

Oppo has rumored to release two foldable devices this year: Find N2 and Find N2 Flip. The first one is a direct successor to the Find N which will compete with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. The phone is said to have a 7.1-inch Samsung E6 AMOLED internal display with 1920 x 1792 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The external panel will be 5.54-inch with 2120 x 1080 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The choice of processor is tipped to be Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. The triple-camera setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor, a 48-megapixel Sony IMX581 ultra-wide sensor, and a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom. The front camera on the phone is a 32-megapixel sensor. There is a 4,520mAh battery with 67W fast charging. It will boot ColorOS 13 based on Android 13 and will also have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

As for the Find N2 Flip, it will be the first clamshell flip foldable from the company and a Galaxy Z Flip 4 competitor. It is said to have a 6.8-inch Samsung E6 AMOLED display with a 2560 x 1080 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The internal display is said to be 3.26 inches tall. The camera setup will include a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary sensor and an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 sensor.

The front camera will be a 32-megapixel sensor housed inside the punch-hole. The battery capacity is reported to be 4,300mAh and 44W fast charging. Oppo is set to release both of these foldables in the coming weeks, most likely before th end of this month. We will keep you posted as more details will emerge.
