ZTE's sub-brand Nubia has debuted a new Android flagship Nubia Z50 in China. It joins the previously released Nubia Z40S Pro about a few months ago. The new flagship comes loaded with a new Qualcomm flagship processor along with high-end specifications and features. There is a premium design featuring glass on both the front as well as the back.
The Nubia Z50 sports a 6.67-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED punch-hole curved display. The panel supports up to 144Hz refresh rate, up to 360Hz touch sampling rate, 10-bit color depth, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and up to 1,000 nits of brightness. Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and coupled with 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Its onboard UFS 4.0 storage options are 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
There is a triple rear camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 primary sensor with f/1.6 aperture, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2cm macro sensor. The camera module even supports 8K video recording. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel camera with f/2.45 aperture for taking selfies and video calls.
The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. Other features include a USB Type-C port, an in-display fingerprint scanner, 5G connectivity, and stereo dual speakers. The phone will boot MyOS 13 based on Android 13. It will be sold in Black and White colors with a glass back and a Green color variant with a leather back.
