Nubia has debuted Red Magic 8 Pro series with flagship specs in China. The lineup includes two models named Red Magic 8 Pro and Red Magic 8 Pro+. The two phones are quite similar in terms of specifications and features but there are a few differences here and there.

The Nubia Red Magic Pro+ sports a 6.8-inch Full HD+ (1116 x 2480 pixels) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel has up to 960Hz touch sampling rate, 10-bit color depth, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, up to 1300 nits brightness, DC dimming, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The choice of processor here is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.

The back panel has triple cameras featuring a 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The front camera on the phone is a 16-megapixel sensor but it is an under-display camera. The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 165W fast charging support. The connectivity options include a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.3, 5G, and WiFi 6E. The phone will boot Redmagic OS 6.0 based on Android 13 out of the box.

The Red Magic 8 Pro has all the specifications, features, and design same as the Pro+ variant. The only difference is in configuration variants, battery capacity, and fast charging speed. The phone is available with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB onboard storage. It is packed with a bigger 6,000mAh battery but with relatively slower 80W fast charging.
