Honor has launched new products, a smartphone and an Android tablet, at an event in China. The new products are Honor 80 GT and Honor Pad V8 Pro. Both of these are mid-range offerings aimed at delivering good value for money.
The Honor 80 GT sports a 6.67-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) OLED punch-hole display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel has 10-bit color depth, a peak brightness of 1400 nits, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut support. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor with Adreno 660 GPU. It is available in 12GB and 16GB RAM options but a single 256GB storage.
The phone has triple rear cameras featuring a 54-megapixel Sony IMX800 primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera on the phone is a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The whole package is powered by a 4,800mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. It will boot Magic UI 7.0 based on Android 12 out of the box.
Honor has priced the 80 GT at CNY 3,299 (about $475) for the 12GB/256GB variant and at CNY 3,599 (about $520) for the 16GB/256GB variant. It will be available in Black, Blue, and White color options.

The Honor Pad V8 Pro will launch in Orange, Blue, and Gray color options. It is priced at CNY 2,599 (about $375) for the 8GB/128GB variant, CNY 2,899 (about $420) for the 8GB/256GB variant, and CNY 3,299 (about $475) for the 12GB/256GB variant.
