When everyone has agreed to the rumors that there will be no Galaxy S22 FE (Fan Edition) release this year, new leaks have surfaced claiming Samsung still has plans for the launch. A bunch of well-known tipsters like RGcloudS, OreXda, and Dohyun Kim have suggested that the South Korean tech giant is still considering launching the affordable version of the Galaxy S22 flagship.

The leak claims Samsung will debut the Galaxy S22 FE next year. The smartphone is said to debut alongside the Galaxy Buds 2 Live truly wireless earbuds. The interesting thing is these products are expected to get official at a dedicated launch event. It will be separate from the event meant for the Galaxy S23 series which will take place in February.

Some of the previous rumors had mentioned Galaxy S22 FE launch plans were scrapped. The reason was said to be the company decided to focus more on the Galaxy S22 Ultra due to more profitability. Now, fresh leaks suggest Galaxy S22 FE may arrive as a replacement for the Galaxy A74. This is because the company has the intention to ditch the Galaxy 7X series in the future.

If we talk about the Galaxy S22 FE itself, the smartphone is tipped to be powered by Exynos 2300 processor. There is expected to be a multi-camera setup headlined by a 108-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HM6 sensor. The report further goes on to mention while this smartphone will arrive, there will not be a Galaxy S23 FE in the future.
