Honor has officially launched the Honor 80 Pro Straight Screen Edition in China. It is a special edition variant of the Honor 80 Pro with a few differences. The first major difference is that the new phone has a flat display panel. The phone has a single configuration and there are camera sensor changes.
The Honor 80 Pro Straight Edition Screen sports a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor with Adreno 730 GPU. It is available in a single configuration of 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage.
In the camera department, the phone has a 160-megapixel 1/1.56-inch primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture. The other two cameras are 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle with f/2.2 aperture and 2-megapixel macro sensors with f/2.4 aperture. The phone has a single 32-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.4 aperture.
The whole package is powered by a 4,800mAh battery with 66W fast charging. It will boot MagicOS 7 based on Android 12 but should get an upgrade to Android 13 soon. The phone is available in Morning Glow, Bright Black, and Jade Green color options. It will be available for purchase at CNY 3,599 (about $532) for the 12GB/256GB variant.
