Twitter Blue has finally been made available for Android devices. The paid subscription from the social media platform was exclusive to the web platform and iOS devices until now. The team has also introduced annual plans in all the regions where the subscription service is officially live.
Android users will have to pay $11 per month if they want to subscribe to Twitter Blue. The pricing is the same as for iOS users which is to offset the app store fee. The pricing is $7 per month if subscribed through the desktop. It is the only way you could save some bucks if you subscribe via the monthly plan.
Talking about saving money, Twitter has also introduced Blue annual plans for users across supported regions. These are currently available only through the web. The annual plan is priced at $84 in the United States which is a saving of about 12% on the monthly plan. If you compare it with the iOS/Android planning, this is a saving of about 36%.
Twitter Blue is a subscription service that gives users a verified tickmark next to the username. However, it does show that you paid for the verified tick. It further allows users to post long videos which can be up to 60 minutes long. It will have new features coming soon which include half ads and priority in replies/mentions/search among others.
