Honor's X-series is quite popular in the Chinese market among budget and mid-range buyers. The team has added a new member to the lineup called Honor X8a. The phone is packed with mid-range specifications and features which are value for money considering the asking price.
The Honor X8a sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+ (2388 x 1080 pixels) LTPS LCD punch-hole display. Under the hood, it has the MediaTek Helio G88 processor with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. It is available in a single configuration of 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. There is no microSD card support available on the phone for storage expansion.
The phone has triple rear cameras featuring a 100-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture, a 5-megapixel wide and depth camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera on the phone is a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.45 aperture.
The whole package is powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 22.5W SuperCharge fast charging support. It will boot Magic UI 6.1 based on Android 12 out of the box. Honor has priced the Honor X8a at EUR 220 for the sole 8GB/128GB variant. It will be available in Cyan Lake, Midnight Black, and Titanium Silver color options.
