There have been various leaks about iPhone 15 Pro models but not much has surfaced about iPhone 15 models. This changes with the latest 9to5Mac leak featuring a bunch of iPhone 15 CAD renders. These renders have been designed by the same designer Ian Zelbo who created CAD renders for Pro models last week.
The first thing that you will notice in iPhone 15 renders right off the bat is Dynamic Island. We have been hearing for a while that Apple is ready to bring Dynamic Island to the whole iPhone lineup this year. It is a feature that debuted last year to replace the notch and was exclusive to iPhone 14 Pro models. It is a pill-shaped cutout that hides both the front camera and Face ID sensors. The major difference is it is a functional pill as it can be used for showing Live Activities from supported apps.
Another noteworthy change is iPhone 15 is reported to come with a 6.2-inch display. This is a slight increment over the 6.1-inch size Apple has been offering for many years. The display refresh rate and resolution are unknown but are speculated to stay the same as the predecessor. The camera bump also appears to be relatively bigger on the upcoming model.
The iPhone 15 is said to stick with physical buttons even though iPhone 15 Pro is rumored to come with capacitive buttons. There will be a USB Type-C port which means Apple is finally saying goodbye to the signature Lightning port. The report does not offer details about specifications, other features, pricing, and color options yet. We will keep you posted as more details will emerge.
