Realme has unveiled the Realme GT 3 as the first smartphone in the global market with 240W fast charging support. It is the same phone as the Realme GT Neo5 that went official in China about a month ago. The two smartphones differ only in the name as everything else remains unchanged.
The Realme GT 3 brings the new Pulse Interface design on the back panel. It is a fully customizable RGB-enabled rectangle that can be customized on a per-app basis. It can be used for notification alerts and even for battery level indication. The glow will be Red color when the battery level will drop below 20%.
The Reame GT 3 sports a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a 2772 x 1240 pixels resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The panel has a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and a 1500Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor coupled with 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB LPDDR5X RAM. Its onboard storage options are 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB UFS 3.1. This results in a total of five configuration variants.
The triple rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary sensor with f/1.88 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel microscope lens with f/3.3 aperture. The selfie shooter is a 16-megapixel Samsung S5K3P9 sensor housed within the punch-hole. The whole package is powered by a 4,600mAh battery with 240W fast charging support. It is claimed to charge 50% in 4 minutes and fully 100% within 10 minutes.
Realme says Realme GT 3 will cost $650 for the base model with 8GB/128GB configuration. It is yet to reveal pricing details for other options i.e. 12GB/256GB, 16GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB. The color options are Pulse White and Booster Black.
