Apple's spring color refresh for iPhone models is here. Both iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are now available in a new Yellow color option. It is not available for Pro models which is not surprising. The announcement was made by Apple through an official blog post that revealed other details about the new choice for buyers.
Yellow color is making a comeback to iPhones after a period of four years. The iPhone 11 was the last mode to be sold in Yellow which happened in 2019. It was also seen on the iPhone XR in 2018. Yellow is the sixth color option for iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 models. It joins the already available colors Midnight, Starlight, (PRODUCT) Red, Blue, and Purple. The new color option will go on preorders starting March 10th and sales will begin March 14th.
Other than the color, there are no changes in the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. Apple must be hoping to see a sales boost for the two models, especially iPhone 14 Plus which has failed to attract buyers so far. The pricing for the new Yellow color is same as the other color options for all storage configurations.
Apple also took the opportunity to unveil four new silicone case colors for the iPhone 14 series. These are Canary Yellow, Sky, Iris, and Olive. The cases are already available for purchase for a price tag of $49 each.
