Samsung has launched a new couple of Galaxy A-series smartphones Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G. The name makes it clear that both of these are 5G-compatible devices. These are direct upgrades over last year's Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A33 5G respectively. The team has even revamped the back panel design which is now similar to the Samsung Galaxy S23. As for specifications and features, let's have a detailed look at these phones.

The Galaxy A54 5G sports a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED punch-hole display with 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it has the Exynos 1380 processor coupled with 6GB and 8GB of RAM. There are 128GB and 256GB storage options which result in three configurations: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage.

The triple camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with f/1.8 aperture with OIS, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 5-megapixel macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera on the phone is a 32-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture.

The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. The phone will boot One UI 5.1 based on Android 13 out of the box. The phone has an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. Samsung has priced the Galaxy A54 5G at EUR 490 for the base variant and EUR 540 for the high-end variant. It will be sold in White, Lime, Graphite, and Violate color options.

The Galaxy A34 5G sports a 6.6-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED notched display with 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 1080 processor. The configuration variants are the same as the Galaxy A54 5G. The rear camera setup features a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The phone has a 13-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture.

Samsung has priced the Galaxy A34 5G at EUR 390 for the base 6GB/128GB variant and EUR 460 for the 8GB/256GB variant. It is available White, Lime, Silver, and Graphite color options.
