After launching three flip foldable smartphones, Motorola is preparing to announce its fourth offering this year. It will be part of the Razr lineup as expected but a new MySmartPrice report suggests it will be named slightly differently. The same report goes on to talk about the phone's model number, battery capacity, and fast charging speed.
The upcoming Motorola foldable is said to be called Razr+ (2023) instead of simply Razr 2023. The reason behind the addition of the "Plus" moniker is unknown. It is speculated to be due to the presence of the biggest cover display on a Razr flip foldable. It will be bigger than the Razr (2022) 2.7-inch cover display but smaller than the 3.26-inch cover display on the Oppo Find N2 Flip.
The Razr+ (2023) reportedly bears the model number XT2321. The battery capacity is said to be 2,850mAh which is even smaller than what the current-gen model comes with. It is unknown why Motorola decided to downgrade the battery capacity, especially when it is such a crucial factor in purchase decisions. The fast charging speed is also relatively slower at 30W as the company offers 33W fast charging on the currently available model.
This is pretty much what is known about the Razr+ so far. Other details like primary display size, processor, configuration variants, and camera sensors are yet to surface. We also do not know about the estimated pricing and availability of the foldable yet. Nevertheless, we will keep you updated as more details will emerge in the future.
