OnePlus might have up its game this time around by stepping into a segment that it previously had somewhat overlooked. OnePlus 9 series launch event was mainly about how the company has managed to offer a top-notch camera with the help of Hasselblad, a Swedish manufacturer of cameras and lenses. The event started by revealing the partnership to elaborating the virtues of the cameras.
But it’s not only about the cameras, after all. The overall craft also includes design, a segment where the company believes to be good at. And, to assess its build quality, you know where to turn to. While there are many reviews to observe what a new phone brought this time around, the YouTuber Zack Nelson brings a different kind of videos where he evaluates phones on the basis of their endurance against uncalled hazards.
This time as well, he has done a durability test on the newly launched OnePlus 9 Pro to tell us the withstand capability of the phone. If you have ever watched his videos, you might know the series of tests he conducts in the durability test.
To start with, he first used the Mohs scale of hardness to determine the quality of the display used. Like many other flagships, the OnePlus 9 Pro also began to show scratches at level 6 and deeper grooves at level 7, this is because the screen is protected with Gorilla Glass 6.
Then he performed the burn test where the phone showed no sign of burnout and passed it with flying colors. Surprisingly, the harsh bend test couldn’t show any flex neither on the display nor on the back. This concludes the OnePlus 9 Pro actually has a solid build.
This is considerably a pretty good accomplishment of the OnePlus 9 Pro. The device not only looks good in terms of design but also features a strong and powerful build.
