Huawei P20 Pro, particularly known for its tri-lens camera setup on the back is one of the beasts of 2018. With a powerful profile and camera setup, the device truly wins the heart. What more interesting is that the company is bringing more improvements to it so as to make it more valuable. The device is reportedly gaining an update that involves a change around the visual aspect of the camera.
The zoom button has now been relocated to the lower part of the screen, whereas the capture button is now squarish instead of the circle.
Furthermore, the update optimizes the power consumption for prolonged usage and improves system performance and stability. Also, the wallpaper display has been optimized as well for a better user experience. The update has reportedly also brought June security patch.
The build number of the software update is B131 and it fixes an issue that was delaying the voice of the person on the other end while on the call when Google Assistant is used to answering the call.
Reportedly, the update is only available through the Huawei Recovery Updater, but an OTA update should roll out soon.
Huawei P20 Pro is a package of versatility with top-notch cameras, impressive design, powerful innards. It’ good to see that some of the virtues of the Huawei P20 are getting infused to the Mate 10 series. For instance, the device is gaining the P20 Pro’s long-exposure feature that doesn’t require any tripod for stabilization. Also, some of the AI features of the P20 will also come to the Mate 10 with the help of Android 8.1 update. Huawei will be adding the six new scenes which its AI technology is capable of identifying while clicking a photo.
