Fast-rising Chinese smartphone manufacturer MIUI recently announced its all-new version of the mobile operating system i.e. MIUI 10 that has a major focus on AI features. As expected, the open beta was planned to be released by June and here we are with the good news. There has been a lot of UI changes since the last 7 years and the new version has much more to offer especially for the full-screen experience smartphones with infinity or edge-to-edge display as they refer to it.
In the latest development in this regard, 10 devices are getting MIUI 10 public beta and if you happen to have any of these devices, you could get it installed. The list of the devices is as follows:
“Mi 8, Mi 8 SE, Mi 6, Mi MIX 2S, Mi MIX 2, Mi MIX, Mi Note 2, Redmi S2 and Redmi Note 5”. Mi 6X was also part of the list though due to an unresolved issue in camera the update was pulled back, though it's expected to be available soon.
The all-new MIUM 10 China Developer ROM 8.6.1x offers a lot that includes overhauled recent apps screen, improved navigation experience for phones having full-screens (infinity/edge-to-edge), AI assistant and much more. The update is approximately 2GB to 2.7GB and you could find the instructions to install in the source link below.

I don't think the Mi 6X would be out for too long. See the camera issue resolved and it's back!
I appreciate Xiaomi's decision to leave out the MI 6X if it's facing any issues instead of persisting with the new UI version.
How long are we going to call Xiaomi a "fast rising company"????
:D :D Tue that. It says there are a lot of UI changes in the past 7 years. 7 years is more than sufficient time to leave behind the tag of "fast rising company".
And moreover, officially, Xiaomi is advertised as the top smartphone company on Indian television.
