Huawei Mate 10 Pro has gained a new update that adds the P20 Pro's like Night Mode to the camera for a better low-light photography. The camera is able to capture better pictures in low-light by using a very long exposure time and it also avoids the blurriness and light smudging issues.
It was reported back in May that Mate 10 Pro will receive P20 Pro’s most interesting feature and finally the same has come for the device. The changelog of the update also shows other changes and features coming to the device. The update optimizes video call performance in Google Duo and also adds app recommendation functionality to top App’s Drawer mode.
The update also brings the June security patch to the Mate 10 Pro devices. Apart from them, VoLTE and VoWiFi functions have also been added.
In related news, Huawei Mate 10 Pro is also promised to gain the GPU Turbo tech that boosts the GPU performance so that you can play the high-end games without any big issue.
Huawei Mate 10 Pro will soon receive the Android 8.1 update based on the EMUI 8.1 OS. But the beta update is already available for the Chinese model variants. According to the changelog found on this update, the EMUI 8.1 will add the GPU Turbo acceleration technology for a smoother gaming experience.
It will also improve the functionality of Huawei Cloud Computer in Easy Projection mode. Also, the update will add the master AI mode which automatically optimizes the camera settings for different scenarios. A few other things to be added include AR lens, multiple 3D lighting effects, optimized UI layout.
International variants of the Huawei Mate 10 Pro are expected to receive the EMUI 8.1 update soon.
