Huawei’s Honor branding is gaining momentum as we progress into the future with new devices being launched under the Honor brand which is a subsidiary of Huawei. Honor Play, that was announced after Honor 10 came into the market giving a competition to the Honor 10, focused more on the gaming aspect of the smartphone. Considering this goal for the device, Huawei placed powerful internals backing up the device to offer a seamless gaming experience.
The device comes with HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC and is priced at Rs. 19,999 for the Indian market. In the latest development, the smartphone has received a new software update that brings in the ‘4D smart shock’ feature that adds another dimension to the gaming experience of the device.
The feature would bring in force-feedback vibrations and would be a part of the upcoming OTA update for the device. This would offer customized vibrations to enhance the user experience during games. This update would be 327 MB in size with the build number COR-AL00 22.214.171.124 (C675CUSTC675D1).
Along with these features, the update also fixes various bugs like like for the call recording feature and also merging Google security patches. In addition to this, users who are interested to try out the Android 9.0 Pie for the Honor devices, they could become a part of the Honor Play test program.
