Huawei CEO announces EMUI 9.0 global roll out starting from 10th November

Leading Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei announced EMUI 9.0 that is based upon the latest Android 9.0 Pie at IFA 2018. While the beta version was already out for a couple of smartphones, the OS is finally all set to be rolled out to the high-end smartphones from the company. Huawei, in the latest development, has finalized the date for the public rolled out on 10th November where it would be first dropping to nine smartphones based upon Kirin 970-powered handsets.


This very date was announced by the CEO of Huawei Richard Yu himself on the popular Chinese social media platform Weibo in addition to sharing the names of the phones that would first be getting it, among which three phones belong to the Honor brand. Below is the list of all the phones to get the update

The EMUI 9.0 (Emotion User Interface) offers improved response time and better smoothness while the GPU Turbo 2.0 equips it for better optimization for mobile gaming. Likewise, other features that were introduced in the Android OS (software by Gooogle) would also include adaptive battery and display brightness in addition to a dedicated menu (Android Dashboard) that monitors screen usage.
