Google fixes Pixel’s RAM management and Camera issues with December update

Google has announced its latest December update for its Pixel and Nexus line of devices. This update brings in the latest Android security patch and fixes for some of the bugs reported on the Pixel devices like the RAM management issue and fixes for Camera issues.

The factory images have been updated on Google Developers Forum and are available for the users who want to download and flash the update right away, while the OTA may take a day or two depending on the location.


In all, there are 13 functional patches mostly for the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL devices. As stated earlier, the most important fixes are the fix for aggressive RAM management issue which force closed apps and was annoying while switching between apps. Another common issue was the Camera fix which was complained about by a lot of users.

Finally, some fix coming around for Google Pixel bugs. The camera issue was one that was quite troublesome, especially considering the Pixel was a prominent phone for its camera functionalities.
