Back in September Razer took the stage to announce the second gen of Raze phone. The device brings iterative improvements in the design and other departments that's why it didn't create as much hype as its predecessor. However, the company is back with a new announcement regarding Razer Phone 2. The company confirms the rollout of a new software update with a main focus on the camera, audio and performance improvements.
The company confirms the latest update brings improvements to the camera warm tone capabilities, HDR mode is also improved with better processing speed, shot detection consistency is also improved with this update. Mostly changes are focused to improve the camera capturing capabilities.
The new software update for #RazerPhone 2 will include: improved HDR & image color, better low-light performance & flash quality + a refined auto-focus within portrait mode. The update will roll out automatically via OTA in select regions and carriers, keep a lookout for it! pic.twitter.com/7ewhEowvlh— R Λ Z Ξ R (@Razer) 6 December 2018
The changelog suggests the update also brings improvement to the audio department but the exact details are still in the dark. The update weighs 100MB only. As an OTA update it won't be rolled out to everyone on a single day but instead, it will take days before reaching to everyone.
If you haven't received the update yet, you can checkout manually as well by going into settings >> About device >> Update manually. If you are amongst those who already received the latest update, feel free to share your thoughts regarding the new update in the comments section below.
