Google rolling out February security update to Pixel devices

05 February 2019 1

Tech giant Google continues to release regular security updates for Pixel smartphones. Previously in January, Pixel and Essential smartphone got their security updates rolled out now it seems that the time is here for yet another one for February.

The February security update could be downloaded from Google’s website or through the OTA update by heading over to the software update options in your device settings menu. The update size is 135.7MB for Pixel 3 XL which takes a while to get installed though considering the file size, you’d easily be able to download it in most parts of the world.

The update could be download on Pixel 3, 3 XL, Pixel 2, 2 XL, Pixel and Pixel XL along with Pixel C. Note that there are no specific changes that the update brings along and the update is generic and brings security updates in general. Have you installed the update yet on your Pixel device?
