Oppo last year released its new version of its Android skin the ColorOS 6 last year and it was said that the new iteration of Android skin will come with a number of visual changes and technical improvements. While ColorOS 6 was announced last year it is yet to reach out to mobile handsets.
ColorOS is present in all OPPO and it’s sub-brand Realme’s smartphones and now, Realme has confirmed that the new skin is soon to make its way to smartphones and when it comes the major change that it will bring is that it will come with an app drawer.
Guys waiting for app drawer, with color OS 6 you will get option to unlock this and many more features. Soon.— Madhav Sheth (@MadhavSheth1) February 5, 2019
Apart from OPPO, Realme phones are also said to be in-line to get the new skin once out, as per a recent tweet from Realme’s India CEO Madhav Sheth.
Most of the Chinese smartphones have a UI which is highly inspired by iOS but are generally have a lot of bloatware. These custom UI’s do not come with app drawer built in. The app drawer on ColorOS 6 may not come with App drawer pre enable, instead, users will have to manually enable it.
