The OTA update is now being sent out to the Poco F1 users, though it's currently in beta phase which is MIUI 10 9.3.1 beta which increases from 30fps native frame rate to 60fps. The same update also empowers Mi 8 and Mi 8 Pro with similar improved capability.
The news came out by the general manager of the Poco India C Manmohan who tweeted who also shared that it would be made available for Poco F1 users as well when the update would be in stable phase.
Earlier, Poco F1 Pro brought the ability to shoot videos in slo-mo at 960 fps and offered enhanced low-light shooting model that captured photography in low light conditions. These specs were rolled out along with the Android security patch for December 2018. The phone has also recently gained Widewine L1 certification though it only allows streaming HD content through Amazon Prime video and Hotstar and missing upon Netflix.
