ZTE, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has also launched a new skin based on the latest Android 10 and it is called MiFavor 10 OS. Keeping this weird naming scheme aside, the Android 10-based skin brings many new design changes alongside some useful features.
ZTE has unveiled the new features of its new customized OS with the help of an infographic. As prominent, the MiFavor 10 OS brings along the dark mode so to ease put a couple of things. The system-wide dark theme will be beneficial for the battery life and your eyes as well. You will find plenty of black backgrounds and white foreground text for a comfortable viewing experience.
The skin also includes completely redesigned icons with ZTE including over 1600 system icons to choose from. Over 80 of the new system icons are designed for micro-motion effects. There is also optimization to motion curves for a smoother transition and an interesting overall experience.
There are also new dynamic wallpapers, six-new built-in themes with their own distinct iconography. Notifications have now been updated to be interactive but less distracting. The notifications now pop-up in a small floating window and they appear similar to the ones we’ve seen on Samsung’s One UI. There is also a compact window interface and a floating keyboard to make multitasking easier.
Apart from aesthetic changes, the MiFavor 10 update also brings a couple of interesting smart features. The customized skin quickly analyses the contents of your screen by long pressing on it with two fingers.
It has a couple of features similar to the Google Assistant. MiFavor 10 picks up both text and images and gives you editing options as well as pull-up product matches and recommendations, recognize animal plants, special character and more. ZTE claims the MiFavor 10 OS also comes with full-featured voice control which gives assistance around the UI.
The new skin also brings some improvements to ZTE’s AI engine, Z-Booster 2.0 for fast app startup times, superior graphics and less stutter.
