Sony Mobiles has been undergoing several critical conditions these days, undergoing transitions, cutting expenses, and streamlining product portfolios. The company used to rule the smartphone world with the Xperia series especially the Xperia X and Xperia Z series of smartphones. Now the new member of the Xperia family Xperia X Compact​ sees the lights of the day.

The premium design of the Xperia X Compact shows Sony’s commitment to high-end devices. The device looks similar to the oft-rumored XR from the front view. Even though the Xperia X series devices share a general design style, XR, and X compact bares a slight boxier appearance with sharper edges. The full specification details of the device are not yet available to the public. Anyway, the Xperia X Compact will pack a USB Type-C connectivity. It will have a 4.6-inch screen just like Z5 Compact and Z3 Compact.
