Messaging app Skype has now added PayPal integration to its Android and iOS app with the feature being called as “Send Money”. The partnership will work in 22 countries including the US, UK, Canada, and a bunch of European countries. The payment method inside the Skype app will help peer-to-peer payments with ease.
PayPal is excited about this new partnership, as John Kunze, VP of Global Consumer Product at PayPal, said,
With over one billion Skype mobile downloads to date globally, users will be able to use PayPal directly from their Skype app to seamlessly send money in the moment - like for a gift for a family member across the country or internationally.
To send the money via Skye, the user needs to be using the latest version, however, the receiver can have any version of the app and both the users need to have an active PayPal account. The service will be implemented from today, so if you are interested in trying out the feature, update your app to the latest version and enjoy.

The PP integration looks cool and so does the idea. Like if you are chatting and want to send money, it's right there. But how much commission will they cut?
Exactly. This thought didn't strike me. PayPal does cut its commission and the receiver gets an amount with a cut. So, I must know that before I send any bucks.
