20 November 2017 5

Instagram is addictive and it can even make you glued to it for a whole day. The interface, the idea it’s built around make this app so lovable. Many users and influencers are doing their business through Instagram by sharing high-quality pictures and videos. But, it becomes crumble sometimes and even annoying when you need to transfer the images from your PC to mobile phone every time so as to post it on Instagram.

There are so many Instagrammers that shoot photos on a DSLR camera, edit them on their computer and then transfer it to their mobile before uploading to Instagram. Well, there has to be a way that could help you to eliminate at least one step of this long process. Instagram does allow you to use the mobile web version of it and post pictures, but the same isn’t yet true in case of the desktop version.

However, there are a few workarounds, which you can follow to post pictures to Instagram from your PC, whether it’s Windows or Mac. I am posting here a quick method and not going through the third-party apps that may let you serve this purpose.

How to post pictures from PC to Instagram

There's isn't any hassle of installing the third-party apps to upload pictures to Instagram from the PCs (MacOS/Linux/Windows). Just you need is to follow this quick guide that includes only three steps. I am here sharing the steps of posting images from Windows 10 PC using Chrome browser.

  • First off, open the Chrome browser and go to incognito window

  • Now, from your keyboard, use Ctrl+Shift+I to open the Developer Tools. Or, Alternatively, you can go to the menu provided below the three vertical dotted lines and choose View and then Developer Tools. If you're using the latest Chrome version then you may find the 'Developer Tools' under More tools.

  • Use Ctrl+Shift+M to open the Tablet view of the window ( Or, choose the option as indicated in the above picture ). Once it's opened, type the instagram.com in the URL and log in to your account. You will be able to see the camera option that will let you upload and post the pictures to Instagram.

It may not work for the first time, so you can refresh the page to get it done.

So, this is how you uploaded the image to the Instagram from your Desktop without installing any app.
