Mi Band 3 allegedly spotted on CEO at Xiaomi event

16 April 2018 4

The Xiaomi Mi Band 3 carries with it a sense of hope, a hope that it too will carry on the success of its predecessors. The Mi Band 3 has appeared in the news before, where it was spotted receiving Bluetooth Certification. However, apart from this no specifications or pictures have been leaked. Well, this may change as we now have a glimpse of what the Mi Band 3 may look like. Remember Xiaomi’s Black Shark gaming smartphone? It was at its launch that the Mi Band 3 was spotted adorning the hand of Lei Jun, Xiaomi’s CEO.

A picture of the Mi Band 3 was captured at the event around the hand of the company’s CEO. The Fitness Band looks quite similar to the Mi Band 2 expect that it's on the larger side. There’s no guarantee that it is indeed the Mi Band 3, but speculation has it that it very well could be. It doesn’t look like the previous iterations of the Mi Band and there’s a very less chance of it being a fitness band from another manufacturer, which leaves us with a hunch that it could be the Mi Band 3. There’s very little that can be inferred from this picture expect that if it is the Mi Band 3, it would look a lot like the Mi Band 2.

Rumour has it that the Mi Band 3 will have a touchscreen display and gesture support. There are no details regarding its launch or even its price point, but it’s certainly around the corner and may take us by surprise! Did you like the Mi Band 2? Are you excited about the Mi Band 3? Let us know what you think in the comments section below!
