03 May 2018 3

HTC U12, the flagship that’s expected to feature four cameras may get launched on May 23. Well, the company from its HTC Germany Twitter handle has shared a teaser that suggests it does have something to show on that day. It’s not confirmed if it would be the U12 device. But a report came in April did suggest that the HTC U12 will launch in May, so we can assume it to be true. This could mean the device will go official in the Western European country and then may get its global launch later.

HTC U12 has been into rumors for a very long time now and several leaks have tried to reveal the specifications of the same. The device is expected to launch with its bigger sibling – U12+ as well.

The teaser from the company shows dismantled parts of a smartphone. There are indeed 4 cameras placed separately. There’s a dual SIM card tray shown in the teaser as well.

A few days back we reported some allegedly leaked camera samples of the U12+ and they didn't look extraordinary that could convince or attract us. The HTC U12+ alleged retail box revealed 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The device spotted on Verizon site suggested that U12 can feature 6-inch Quad HD display. Some alleged real-life images of the U12 suggested us bezel-less display.

Back in March, the prolific tipster Evan Blass revealed the look of the U12+ and LIabTooFeR revealed the entire specs of the device codenamed Imagine, which is the same device U12+.

Rumored specs of U12+
  • 5.99-inch Quad HD+ display
