Apple is rumored to launch three new models this year, one of which will have a 5.8-inch display, another could come with a 6.1-inch display, and the last model will be the bigger in size with a 6.5-inch display. While we are continuously hearing about the iPhone SE 2 that could be the 5.8-inch model and the iPhone X Plus with a 6.5-inch massive display, there isn’t much known about the third iPhone with a 6.1-inch model. But, now, the prolific leakster @OnLeaks has come up with some renders based on the factory CAD.
Well, as usual, there’s a 360-degree video also attached to let you see the probable model from every angle. These renders have been made available on MySmartPrice under the collaboration. It should be noted that keeping the screen size aside, the iPhone leak (6.1-inch model) has no speculated name associated with it.
The rendered iPhone 2018 model with 6.1-inch display has been shown with only single rear-camera. Going by the previous leaks, the 6.1-inch model is said to be the entry-level iPhone. As postulated by KGI Securities’ analyst, the 6.1-inch model will have an LCD display compared to the other two models that will have an OLED display. Also, the other two models will include the dual rear cameras but the 6.1-inch model will have only one camera on the rear. It was also speculated that the LCD model which is the 6.1-inch iPhone will be less prone to damage as the display will have a new thin layer that may increase its durability.
It was even theorized that the 6.1-inch model will cost somewhere between $700 and $800. As you would see in the renders based on CAD by OnLeaks, the display has a notch just like the iPhone X and this notch doesn’t seem to be small.
A new report has also been surfaced that state iPhone X Plus model with a 6.5-inch display will include the triple lens camera. However, this is the first time, we are hearing something like this.
Let’s have a closer look at the 6.1-inch iPhone model that may launch this year.
