Logitech announces GX Blue switch and G512 gaming keyboard

13 June 2018 3

Gamers generally prefer mechanical keyboards. Not just because they are durable than others but also for the clickety sound and the tactile feedback to keypresses. Logitech has now launched a new key switch GX Blue along with the all-new G512 Mechanical Keyboard.

The GX Blue key offers the perfect sound and key press feedback quite like the Cherry MX keys and offers more choice to gamers. It is the middle path between Logitech’s Romer-G Linear and Romer-G Tactile mechanical switches and hence offer a third option to the gamers.

USB Passthrough

Talking about the Logitech G512 Keyboard, its top case is made of anodized and brushed "aircraft-grade" aluminum that offers durability and adds to the looks of the keyboard. It comes with an option to program each key individually with approximately 16.8 million colors, with four lighting zones using the free Logitech Gaming Software, USB 2.0 pass-through for charging & data sync, 26-key rollover and, anti-ghosting.

The GX Blue keys are available on the older G513 Keyboard too apart from the G512. In terms of pricing, the G512 keyboard is available to preorder at $99 while the G513 is available at $149.
