Xiaomi launches MIJIA DC Inverter fan in white for 349 Yuan

13 June 2018 1

It seems like Xiaomi is finding answers not to just your tech needs but your summer ones as well! The company, in an attempt to help you beat the heat, has launched its MIJIA DC Inverter fan. This is a perfect cooling solution in case of a power outage or if for some reason the fan and air conditioner at work aren’t functioning. While this product may seem odd for a company like Xiaomi to launch, it isn’t out of the ordinary considering the company focuses on household appliances.

In fact, if this fan tickles your fancy but portability is an issue, you could try out Xiaomi’s portable handheld USB fan which the company released not too long ago. The design and build quality seem to be good, like most of Xiaomi’s products. The fan has seven blades which are designed for the best airflow. The fan is entirely white in colour and in order to ensure that the colour doesn’t fade into a dirty yellow, the company has used anti-ultraviolet ABS material. The pole, as well as the round base, have been made of aluminium.

The fan makes use of a silent bearing brushless DC motor resulting in very low levels of sound at just 33dB. The icing on the cake is perhaps how energy efficient the fan is, consuming only 1.8W. You can control the fan either through the physical buttons on it, via voice commands or even through the MIJIA app on your smartphone. As of now, the device is only available in the Chinese market on Mi Home and is priced at 349 Yuan (approximately $54).

Xiaomi is one company that brings not only smartphones in which they are numero uno, but the other sub-brands that they deal in are also something to look up to.
