Yahoo is debuting all new mail app for Android Go and is also redesigning the web email experience for Yahoo mail. While Yahoo Go mail app is an attempt to reduce the size of the app and RAM consumption and is ideal for smartphones with low specifications running Android Go, the Yahoo Mail mobile web is all about the experience.
The basic idea behind this visual overhaul is to let users get the same experience as the regular mobile app without downloading it. It is getting a lot of features like customizable gesture control, customizable color themes, infinite scrolling apart from creating folders for better email management. The new Yahoo webmail web experience is not platform dependent and works for both iOS and Android.
The new web-based app lets you easily organize your mailbox by deleting emails by swiping right or marking it as read by swiping left. Once in the email, you get more options to manage and respond. Yahoo has also added auto-suggestions for email ids, infinite scrolling in the mailbox and options to easily perform actions like reply, forward, and delete etc. when in the email. There is a sidebar present that houses folders and other important links.
Apart from the redesigned web-based mail, Yahoo has also introduced the new Yahoo Go mail app. It is designed for entry-level Android Go smartphones and is less than 10 MB in size. It also uses less than 50MB of RAM for a seamless experience.
