Around the end of their keynote at IFA 2018, Huawei has announced that it will host a special event in London on 16th October. This event will see the launch of Huawei’s flagship Mate 20 lineup and will sport the recently launched HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC.
The Mate 20 series will include the Huawei Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, and the Mate 20 lite which was recently launched.
Apart from the fact that the Mate 20 series will be powered by the Kirin 980 SoC, the Mate 20 is said to feature a 6.3-inches AMOLED display with a water drop notch, stereo speakers, wireless charging sandwiched in a glass body. It is also said to house a triple rear camera and a 4,200 mAH battery to power such a large display.
Though it is very unclear if the Mate 20 series will make their way to the United States as the company has been facing legal issues there. However, this may only be revealed during the launch day i.e. 16th October.
