Xiaomi's first Android gaming phone Black Shark may be getting a successor. The phone was launched earlier this year and is one of the most powerful smartphones as per the benchmarks. Now we’ve come across leaks suggesting that the Black Shark 2 is in works and has been spotted on TENAA certification site.
The leak reveals the design of the phone and AWM-A0 as its model number. The phone may have a dual rear camera setup and a fingerprint sensor below that. There is a green colored LED light dividing the dual-toned back. This could be either an LED light or liquid cooling system.
The front of the device does not reveal much, however, a notch could be present. A power button and maybe a slider can be seen on the right side of the device. The Black Shark 2 is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC along with Adreno 630 GPU with a liquid cooling system and Pixelworks independent image processing chip, a 5.99-inch display with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels with 18:9 aspect ratio.
The phone is expected to carry a 4,000 mAh battery pack with fast charge technology and may come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Though there are no more details available at this time, however, it is said to be priced around CNY 2999 or USD 436 when launched.
