Huawei is set to launch the Mate 20 series in London on October 16. We’ve seen a few leaks and renders of Mate 20 Pro, it is time for the renders of the leaked Huawei Mate 20 revealing the phone in its full glory.
The renders show that that the front of Mate 20 may be entirely a 6.43-inch Full HD+ TFT LCD display with a screen resolution of 2244 x 1080 pixels and bezels that are barely there. It has a water drop notch at the top which houses just a front-facing camera sensor. Another key highlight is the narrow chin at the bottom which is relatively smaller than other devices present in the market at the moment.
On the rear, the Mate 20 may come with a triple camera set up along with a dual-toned LED flash aligned in a 'camera island' like the Mate 20 Pro. A fingerprint sensor may be located below the camera island, while the Mate 20 Pro is said to house an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Mate 20 is said to house a Kirin 980 SoC and may come in three options in terms of RAM — 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB. The internal storage offerings may differ — 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB, based on the region.
In a related news, the pricing of Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20 has been leaked and if the leaked distributor price is to be believed, the Mate 20 and 20 Pro are not going to be very light on the pocket. The Huawei Mate 20 is said to come in three color options Black, Blue, and Twilight. As for the pricing, the Mate 20 may be available to distributors at CHF 799 or USD 806, hence it may retail around USD 850 to USD 900 for the 128Gigs variant.
As for the Mate 20 Pro, it is going to be further costlier. It may also be available in blue, black and twilight color options and the distributor price may start around CHF999 or USD 1008. It may very well retail around USD 1100 for the 128GB variant.
