Xiaomi had launched its first gaming smartphone the Black Shark a few months back and it is a beast of a phone which is confirmed by the benchmark scores. Though the phone was only available in China yet and the limited people outside China who got their hands on to the phone were really impressed.
While the phone never made its way out of China some Chinese e-commerce stores have been selling the phone however in limited quantities and at higher prices. However, it looks like this is going to change soon and the Black Shark Gaming phone may be available for a wider audience.
Going by the new Global site that has been set up for the Black Shark gaming phone, it seems that the phone may soon put its first steps outside China. As of now the site Global.Blackshark.com only says “unleashing soon” and asks your email for being added to the mailing list. Hopefully, we will get some official confirmation pretty soon.
In a related news, we’ve been hearing a few rumors about the Black Shark 2. The second generation gaming phone from Xiaomi was recently awarded TENAA certification. It is said to feature a 5.99-inch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with Adreno 630 GPU and a liquid cooling system to keep the device temperature under control, while you enjoy playing games on the phone.

I fail to understand why Xiaomi didn't bring out the Black Shark outside China. It was such a hit.
And Xiaomi has brisk foreign market too. India, for one. But generally speaking the phone should have been made available for other markets too.
That's past. But the good news now is Black Shark will be available outside China.
