The Honor Magic 2 which is said to be an all-screen slider smartphone will be announced on October 31. So, we are just a few days away from the launch event by the leaks aren’t stopping by. They keep on coming and in fact, the company has been teasing about the device itself and now we have a set of official images of the Honor Magic 2 coming straight from the company.
These official images particularly highlight the color variants of the Magic 2 phone, these include gradient blue and gradient pink/purple. From the back, the device looks impressive; there are three cameras stacked vertically. In fact, this design reminds us of the Huawei P20 Pro that was the first premium phone launched with triple cameras. The front offers a larger screen area as there isn’t any notch and chin as well. The display has close to 100% screen-to-body ratio. It comes with a 16MP front-facing camera module in a slider that also houses two lenses for 3D face unlocking.
These official images of the Honor Magic that have been leaked ahead of the launch also show the retail packaging. The name of the device is written in gold or rose gold text on a black box and this packaging definitely attracts the eyes.
There’s no fingerprint scanner to be seen anywhere, so it’s fair to assume it under the display.
One more teaser of the Honor Magic 2 has surfaced that shows one of the color variants and also shows its Yoyo AI-powered personal assistant. The color teased in the video does catch your eye but this isn’t something new coming from this Chinese company. The color variant showcased in the video shows a purple to red gradient color.
The Honor Magic 2 will sport a 6.4-inch full HD+ touchscreen, Kirin 980 chipset coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It may come with 3,400mAH battery that will support Huawei’s 40W fast charging. The phone will run Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9 on the top.
