Mobvoi, Chinese smartwatch maker is reportedly debuting in India soon and it may launch its affordable smartwatches under its Ticwatch brand. And, going by the latest report, the debut of the brand may happen this month itself.
The tech site GadgetScanner cites its sources and shares that the company may plan to launch limited models from its Ticwatch range of smartwatches and will be sold exclusively on one of India’s leading e-commerce store.
Mobvoi is one of a few brands that launch WearOS powered smartwatches and recently it launched Ticwatch C2 smartwatch. Apart from the selling the wearables devices, the Chinese brands also sell smart home speakers TicHome and wireless earphones.
Talking about its one of the latest products, Ticwatch C2, it’s specifically designed for women and meddled out of stainless steel frame and has two buttons on the right. It has a 1.3-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 360x360 pixels resolution. It’s powered by Snapdragon 2100 processor coupled with Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi, GPS, IP68, and 400mAH battery.
Launching only the products under Ticwatch brand suggests that the company isn’t planning a full portfolio of its products in India at the moment. Also, we need to see whether they are going to be just smartwatches or other products as well. Also, we are yet to know which is going to be that exclusive e-retailer that will sell the products.
