Realme company has unleashed its new brand logo that now includes Yellow color than the previous vibrant Red one. Realme was started as Oppo’s sub-brand and later it formed as a separate company. The company now holds a good position in the market with its decent specced smartphones at comparatively low cost.
The company is quite young and in less time it’s changed its brand visual identity. There isn’t any difference in the font except to the initial “R” which is designed by Eddie Opara. Also, the text is now written in Grey color over a yellow background.
Realme has announced that it will be rolling out its upgraded brand image across all channels. The new “R” logo and smartphones will launch across Southeast Asian markets including Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Cambodia, countries in South Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa.
Realme brand was officially established on May 4th, 2018 (National Youth Day of China) by its founder Sky Li together with a bunch of young people and since then the company addresses itself as a company for the Young. The company also runs several social media campaigns using the #ProudToBeYoung.
Speaking on the new brand visual identity, Sky Li said,
As a global, youth-facing smartphone brand, Realme is continuing to introduce new products that feature stylish design and a powerful performance. At the same time, Realme hopes to create a symbol for young people through the new brand logo – one they can identify with, and where they see a visual symbol of their emotional identity and belonging.
