Amazon has decided to make itself even more popular than it already is. The online giant is expanding its presence by announcing a mobile gaming tournament in India. This tournament is called the GameOn Masters and is geared towards casual gamers rather than hardcore ones. Naturally, the games included in the tournament will be fitted to match its players. The games include World Cricket Championship 2, World Table Tennis Champs, Jetpack Joyride (version developed by Mech Mocha), duo, Ludo Game and Real Carrom 3D: Multiplayer.
Qualifiers for this tournament start on November 23rd. There will be a total of forty players with eight players being selected from each game. The GameOn Masters India Championships extends from February 3rd to February 5th in Delhi. The winner from each game will get a cash gift of INR 1,00,000. The organiser for this show is none other than Nodwin Gaming. Nodwin Gaming is the very same company which brought ESL, Dreamhack, and the Mountain Dew Arena to India.
It’s clearly not a coincidence that all the games included in the gaming tournament use Amazon GameOn. If you didn’t already know, Amazon GameOn is a service which allows developers to add competitive tweaks to games like leaderboards and prizes. This tournament is definitely a wonderful way of encouraging the gaming community of India to strive to new heights.
