29 November 2018 2

Nokia 7 Plus has received a new software update that brings the November Android Security patch and Google Lens and Google Motion integration. These new integrations are part of the Camera app version 9.0 which now also includes a new interface.

The software version of the update for the Nokia 7 Plus is 3.39B and it is 462.8MB in size. The Camera app version 9.0 was launched in August with a new interface that has a carousel design. There’s a Google Lens integration to let you leverage Google’s machine learning algorithms to identify objects in your surroundings. Also, Google Motion support lets you make short videos which you can share as GIF or clips. It can also export these short videos to share them in the future.

There’s also a new system navigation alongside new settings menu and notifications experience. The update also brings the Adaptive Battery power prioritization for the most commonly used apps and services.

Similarly, there are adaptive and optimized brightness levels and predictive application actions. The availability of the latest Android update on the Nokia 7 Plus can be seen by going into the Settings> Software updates.

The Nokia 7 Plus notably received an update to Android 9.0 Pie back in September and was the first phone from HMD Global to get the Pie version.
