New Xiaomi smartphones passes 3C certification

01 December 2018 3

Xiaomi seems to be at the top of its game when it comes to smartphones. The company may launch the first ever 5G supported smartphone, Mi MIX 3 5G variant. The launch of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro stole the hearts of millions across the globe. Two new devices bearing the model numbers of M1901F9E and M1901F9T have just passed through 3C certification. Both model numbers actually point to a single device. So, which device could this be?

Rumour has it that this new smartphone is, in fact, the Chinese variant of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro. According to the information revealed through this certification, the smartphone will be equipped with a 5VDC, 2.0A charging head with the total amount of power being 10W. In all likelihood, the Chinese variant of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro will be named as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6. If this is indeed true, then the device will have the exact same features and hardware specifications of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro.

The new smartphone from Xiaomi may feature a 6.26-inch notched display with an FHD+ resolution. Powering the smartphone will be the Snapdragon 636 SoC. In all likelihood the device will be made available in two memory and storage configurations: 3G RAM with 32GB internal storage or 4GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage. In terms of the camera department, it may sport a dual rear-camera setup of 12MP + 5MP as well as a dual front-facing camera setup of 20MP + 2MP. The device is expected to be juiced by a massive 4,000mAh battery. The base variant of the smartphone is rumoured to bear a price tag of Yuan 1,400.
