Huawei Mate 20 Pro update improves camera and brings faster fingerprint unlocking

Huawei Mate 20 Pro has gained a new software update which is actually the second major update after its launch. The latest update brings the Android security patch and a bunch of improvements.

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro is undoubtedly one of the best camera phones in the market today and now this new update polishes the camera skills further so as to offer you more. The latest update works on the improvement of the quality of the camera. Particularly, according to the update, it “optimizes the camera performance and improve photo quality.”

The update of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also fixes a bug which was preventing Google Messages to show a notification badge. The update changelog also mentions improvements to the Face Unlock and in-screen fingerprint reader. Furthermore, the update also optimizes the face unlock in certain scenarios and optimizes the in-screen fingerprint reader for faster unlock speed.

As mentioned in the beginning, the update also brings the November 2018 security patch. It weighs and brings the EMUI version to This is a gradual rollout and should reach every Mate 20 Pro device sooner.
