While detailing the key features of the View 20 at an event in China, Honor also showcased the camera samples taken with the phone's whopping 48MP rear camera. Well, if everything goes well then Honor will become the first ever company for coming with the 48MP camera. To its competition is Xiaomi which is rumored to come up with the same camera configuration rear camera, however, we are yet to know when this will happen. At least, this is clear, Honor is coming up with the View 20 device with a 48MP rear camera and the launch could happen in Paris on January 22.

Honor mentioned that the dual NPU inside the Kirin 980 chipset will help in providing the multi-frame image processing, with the brand touting image quality on par with “high-end single-lens reflex cameras.”

It will be Sony’s latest and the world’s highest-resolution image sensor that was introduced back in July this year. The IMX568 promises the highest pixel count and thus the 48MP will offer a big leap.

Coming to the camera samples, the pictures look bright and vibrant. There are three pictures, each of them showing a different situation of light. One is kind of an indoor shot; showcasing the food market of China which is covered and thus has low-light. Also, there’s a picture of daylight showcasing the pedestrians and the look of the day. Last shot seems to be using some black and white filter where some people are sitting on the street. Overall, the pictures look good but we have to wait for its launch for an ultimate verdict.
