Google Fit update brings new breathing exercises to help you relax

11 December 2018 3

Google Fit update brings more features right in time for the holiday season. This new update will allow users to track their progress in a single glance on your Android home screen with new Google Fit widgets.

Users can pin the widget to the home screen and get instant updates about your Heart Points, Move Minutes and other daily stats. Users will also be able to check their last workout on the home screen. While manually logging a workout in the journal, users will get an option to adjust their activity intensity to get more accurate Heart Points.

Google Fit will now also guide you through a breathing exercise to help you unwind and relax. The company will be rolling out these new updates on their Android phone or Wear OS by Google watch later this week.

Google stated in a blog post, “Between last-minute gift shopping, holiday decorations, and family gatherings, there’s a lot to do and plan for the holidays. On Wear OS by Google watches, Google Fit will now guide you through a breathing exercise to help you unwind and relax. We’ll be rolling out these updates on your Android phone or Wear OS by Google watch this week. If you’re new to Google Fit, try the app here to kick-start your journey to a healthier, more active life.
