Vivo Nex Dual Display 8GB RAM spotted on TENAA with smaller battery

02 January 2019 3

Vivo recently pulled the covers off of its Vivo Nex Dual display smartphone. The smartphone took the world by surprise and given the attention it attained, the company has now decided to release an 8GB variant of the device. An 8GB RAM version of the Vivo Nex Dual Display smartphone was spotted on TENAA. Unfortunately, this listing wasn’t accompanied by images of the smartphone. However, in all possibility, the 8GB RAM variant of the smartphone will look exactly like the 10GB variant.

Until now, the device has been confined to the Chinese market. The main USP of the device is its dual screens and triple rear camera setup. TENAA has seen two variants of the Vivo Nex Dual Display, bearing the model numbers of V1820A and V1820T. Both models seem to have exact specifications barring the difference in the amount of RAM packed into the device. According to the listing of the 8GB variant spotted on TENAA, the smartphone will feature a 6.39-inch display with a resolution of 1080x2340p and a smaller 5.49-inch screen with a display resolution of 1080x1920p. The device will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon CPU clocked at 2.2GHz. Coupled with this are 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

If this TENAA listing is to be believed, the 8GB variant of the Vivo Nex Dual Display smartphone will be equipped with a smaller battery capacity of 3,425mAh. Perhaps this variant will also have the exact same camera specifications as that of the 10GB variant. However, this is based on speculation and should be taken with more than just a pinch of salt!
