The leaks and rumors for the Nokia 9 are making enough noise on the internet, however, despite the numerous appearances, the key details were still under the wraps. Well, not anymore since this is also getting a highlight today, courtesy of a new leakster that has surfaced and is throwing some light on HMD Global’s plans. We first came to know about the Nokia 9 PureView successor and now it’s time to know about the Nokia 9 itself.
The very first information is a gem as it talks about the release date of the Nokia 9 PureView. According to Nokia_leaks tweet, the Nokia 9 may launch in the 3rd or 4th week of this month. It will first be released in Europe at EUR 749/EUR 799. So, we now have the pricing tip as well for the much-speculated device from HMD Global. If deemed accurate, the Nokia 9 would cost $850-$900 in the US.
According to the tipster’s recent tip, its successor with 5G support would come in August, so if it’s true we can fairly rely on this expected launch date of the Nokia 9 PureView as well.
Before the rumor of price and release date, the leaks have thrown enough light on the specifications of the device. These include a 5.99-inch 2K display with HDR10 and in-display fingerprint scanner. In September, we also got to know about the storage variants of the Nokia 9 via Samsung’s website, which stated it will have 64GB and 128GB storage variants in dual and single SIM options depending upon the markets it’s going to be launched in. Also, it may pack 4,150mAH battery with wireless charging support and Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box.
Last month of the last year, we saw an alleged live image of the device that mainly highlighted the front of the device. It showcased bezels on the top and quite thick bezels on the bottom, highlighting the somewhat mundane design.
